Hello. My TD-6 starts on gas and then switches to Diesel. It runs good on gas after you switch to diesel it will run smooth and no exaust for 2 to 4 mins. then it will start to smoke and loose some power. I fixed all fuel leaks cleaned air filters and air intake. Bled air out of fuel lines anf filters. Cleaned the water trap. Nothing seems to help.I can not find anyone here that knows about the TD-6s.
I could use any halp that I can find.
Thank you very much Jerry

Didn't see that you put in new fuel filters? Also make sure that the linkage is right (switch over linkage has to work positively it's overcenter type) The fuel that was mentioned in the oil resovoir will eventually increase wear in the pump' but not effect running. Bleed everything again according to the manual, and make sure the govenor spring is free. Might want to clean the screen in the primary pump too. Usually they blow dark smoke for a while til they're hot. Maybe work it some. Good luck Geoff NY

Been following your replies for a while, was wondering why you won't actually answer a question?
