The hydraulic valve for the Drott 4-in-1 loader on my TD340 leaks oil around the spools, and the tilt cylinders won't hold in the down position. The 3-spool valve is Speciaties Co. Model # 3303-10, made in Waukesha,WI. I suspect they are no longer in business. Does anyone have any ideas on the following options?:
1. A reputable firm that I could ship the valve to for rebuilding.
2. Source for a factory-rebuilt valve of the same model.
3. Part numbers for currently manufactured valves that would be compatible for a TD340 with Drott loader, with out doing any extra plumbing, etc. Thanks in advance for any help.

I suspect that this is very simple and might only involve replacing some O rings, which you could do yourself in no time. That"s certainly what I would try first. No need to take off the valve; just disconnect the control linkages and pull out the plungers. I"ll look at my TD340 hydraulic manual tomorrow when I"m back up at my camp. If you need further rebuilding because of other warn parts, any hydraulic shop should be able to do it.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my post, Charlie. Sounds like a good plan. I didn't realize I could replace the o-rings without taking the valve off the tractor. I think I'll try this. I also found out that the company that made the valve, Husco International, is still in business. Maybe they have a kit with the o-rings, gaskets, etc that I could buy reasonable.

Russ -- Let me know if you need a schematic of your valve or any other info. You might find the TD340 parts manual and other service manuals useful; they are probably still available through a Komatsu-Dresser dealer. I have found hydraulic systems quite easy to understand and work on, and there could be several reasons why your tilt cylinders don't hold.
