Hello guys. I have put several hours on my CatD7-17A now and want to change the oil in the engine, wet clutch and transmission. Anyone have this information handy?

What is the engine crankcase capacity for a D7-17A? How do you drain it? Use 30 weight non detergent right?

What is the transmission capacity for a D7-17A? What weight is used here? How do you drain it?

What is the wet clutch capacity for a D7-17A? What oil should be used? How do you drain it?

I have checked the oil in the final drives. What weight should be used? Do you fill it clear up to the filler plug? I used a 90 weight oil in them. Is that OK?

Thanks guys.

I would use Cat TDTO for the master Clutch, 50 or 90 in the final drives, fill them to the plug.Use Diesel engine oil 10 W 30.There should be a hole or a small plate to take off of the skid pan to get to the engine oil drain. The trans and bevelgear are the same oil compartment. Don't forget the steering booster on top of the bevelgear case. Don't have the capacity handy now.
