OK- I guess I was a sucker for a 500 dollar backhoe. Everything runs, kinda. Right now I have a problem with the steering. The power is there if you turn the wheel slowly, but not if you turn it quickly. It's a hydrostatic system with no remote tank that I can see other than the main hydraulic tank. Any ideas? thanks...

Sounds like your orbital valve is gone. My old 160 had this problem and believe it or not it just went away on it's own! After owning and repairing that machine, I will never own one again. Much too hard to work on and get parts for.
