Got a couple of good feline hunters on the place. Even so, mice persist in building nests in around the engines on both my crawler and Ford tractor. If I find them, OK; if not, burning chicken feathers, hot mouse droppings and urine...yuck! Any suggestions on how to deal with them? Seems to happen year round and not just as fall and winter approach.

Dryer sheet. I know a guy who uses them to keep mice out of his combind.

Tried mothballs with no results; mgr at feed store told me about dryer sheets, Bounce in particular; says he used them to deal with mice getting into sports car stored for the winter; swears by the dryer sheets...no profit in them for him but bought Bounce and will give it a try. Essence is sure strong and ought to discourage all kinds of rodents.
Thanks for the replies.
