I have a TD9 91 series loader, has 1.25 yard bucket, it is a semi diesel, cranks on gas and switches to diesel. Or that is the way it is suppose to work, I just leave it on diesel and shoot some starting fluid in it. Parts can be found....I livein Texas and had the starter to go bad, the use machinery guy ordered one, it came out of Idaho....so get with the right guy and he probably can get you an engine....there are a lot of the TD9 around.

Think a D282 will fit your crawler. /Dennis

im not completly sure if the earlier TD9 dozers were the same as the later TD9 series B that we have but i know ours has the same engine as an IH 656 ag tractor, so i would think any engine from that series ag tractor would fit also

What to you guys know about the thermostat on this. It is a later model TD91. We can't seem to get it to stop from overheating. Some people have said to put a surge tank on these because the back of the head does not get enough coolant when the front end is down hill. This is the first time i have been on any forum like this so i am not sure how this all works. Lionel.O. IHC td91

linoel, head to redpower, if you can't get there email me and i'll send you a direct link. also on the over heating problems there are number of possibleitys. but the surge tank is good. don't give up on the BBs we love and it is a wealth of knowledge.

also at redpower we do pictures and we love pictures, thansk
