I've found a 1953TD-14A for sale. The owner says the final drive bearings were "clicking" and gave up on fixing it in the 70's/80's. He says he spent about $2000+/- on under carriage before he quit running it. It is hydraulic, red, and will need some tlc. The rails look wore but rollers are what I think he replaced. I have a TD-18A I just bought about 2 months ago. Would any of the undercarriage interchange or should I buy for under $1000 and try to fix?

Those final drive special bearings (with the wide inner race) are not available any more. You must make a spacer ring. There is a bearing rebuilder here in the NE if needed.
