tring to figure if my ih 1086 would tow it home 1.5 miles any ideas how to raise the blade and keep it upwithout engine running

to hold the blade up just chain around the clyinders, don't chain anything to the rad or you will break the cast sides in the rad.a couple of jackalls should work if you are carful. you don't needed it to high. if you tow it backwards with the steering clutched tied back it will follow the tractor no problem. head to red power and join us, thansk

King the TD-9 shes been sleeping for 17 years will it still roll if the clutches are froze.I will also have a bridge to cross. The road is gravel but the bridge is concrete I dont want the township after me for marking the surface I thought mabee planks for bridge crossing

Listen to KoO, He sleeps with his TD9..... .and a few others. He is easy if it's got tracks. Go to Red Power if you don't believe me!!! It's the best for IHC crawler nuts.

Looking for arms etc. for attaching dozer blade to a TD9 crawler--any ideas for sources? Or will sell--dozer otherwise intact but rusty & not working.
