I found a 1942? IH TD 6 and looks good body wise.
has some missing teeth on the fly wheel. Owner says you turn it a little and it starts up. Serial # is worn off.
No blade. Any ideas on value or price? How hard is it to get a blade or fly wheel? Thanks in advance . . can Email a picture Wed.

Hi Brad , to answer the Question about price its kinda hard to say , because if you watch ebay its seems like there a 2 to 3 thousand dollars no problem but the parts to fix them seem to add up quick. I have a td-6 and live in Washington state in Graham. I"ve been working on mine for about a year , so I have found one guy up in Chitticum who seems to have a bunch of parts for these things. and so does County Line in Fife. I think I have an extra straight blade with mounts but the rams are rusty. Let me know if your interested and I"ll make sure its still all there and come up with a price. From what everyone tells me the heads are prone to cracking so before you buy it have him start it up and also check a site called redpowermagizine for the proper way to shut these things down so the starting valves don"t get warped or I should say see the different oppinions . I can vouch for the fact on my machine if you don,t shut it down by switching it to gas and letting it run for a minute or so it will diesel foul the plugs and make it impossible to start next time.
