I am looking to purchase a TD-7. The unit has about 5000hrs on it, powershift, 6 way blade and the undercarrage is considered okay. I am only going to use it on the farm for pushing a bit of dirt/snow. If it gets 50hrs a year on it that would be max. What are the good points about the Dresser dozers vs the bad? The asking price for the machine is around 14,000 canadian. Was there different series of TD-7 made and is there any one to be worried about? Also any idea of what it weighs?

Thanks, new to dozing and need all the help I can get.

I have a TD7E, good machine, weighs around 15k I think.

Only thing abuot them, is the controls get real sloppy from use over the years.

If you have access to a machine shop, get all the
controls re-bushing'd, as thats what I did.
