My JD450C is doing them....because I added a model 9500 backhoe on the rear. It made the dozer heavy in the rear and it does wheelies when I go over a small rise in the terrain. Any ideas as to how I can add weight to the front/blade area?

Don't know if this will help but I have an 8N Ford with a backhoe on it and up front behind the loader it has a cement weight thats is around 500lbs. fits in a sort of half V slot. With out in on the tractor you can't move more the a foot or so.

don't have JD but have a case 450 with hoe on back and with the hoe they make a 750 lb. weight that goes in front on the bellie in place of the skid pan

I have a 350 with a #93 hoe & cemetery bucket. mine does a nasty wheelie too. (Trakkie!) Are the belly weights available on the 350 frame as well?

I have a 350b with the #93 hoe. Not only was I doing wheelies, I also was messing around in the trees and a track jumped sprocket. Hine site said, I was lugging around way too much weight which was hard on the whole machine.
Now, I only hitch up the hoe when I am ready to use it and take it off when I am done.
It is a lot easier to pop the hoe on and off than it is to put a track back on the sprocket.
But I would not trade that #93 for anything. A dozer with a hoe is one handy machine!

Indeed it is. With a trailer or dump truck, what else could a person need to rearrange the earth to your content?
