I am thinking about buying a used skid steer that must lift 1200lb round bales. I would like to send less than $4000. what is a good model to purchase?

Used skid loaders are not a good investment unless you are handy and can fix it yourself. Try to stay away from a skid loader that someone has used in construction trades. These loaders probably have been used with tracks [ which they were not originally intended for].People who use skid loaders for , lets say septic installations usually use them under extreme conditions. Places where their crawler loader won't go..Any brand skidder is ok but I personally would stay away from one that uses a common reservoir for chain cases and hydraulics.Chain fragments can get into hydraulic and hydrostatic systems. Big Buck Fix.
