D6C Year and Value??

Found a decent D6C. Just wondering what year it is and what average value might be? Serial # 76A5417. U/C and shoes are in very good condition. Straight blade, no tilt but bushings are tight and blade looks nice. New trans. installed this year. Runs great and everything seems to work well. Exhaust stack is either rotted or broke off turbo, but I can't imagine thats much to fix. Paint and homemade or mostly homemade ROPS look terrible, but of course that doesn't make them work any better. Just looked at this machine today and I'm not sure what asking price is yet. Just looking for value and any issues with D6C that I should be aware of as this will be my first dozer. Thanks in advance.
Jon

My S/N Guide shows D6C 76A as manufactured between 1963-1968.

I can't tell you a value but the D6-Cs are dam fine machines. It might take you a while to get use to running it as the steering clutch and brakes are seperate but that not a big deal.

Sell for around $15,000 in mid-Appalachian mountains. Probably 1973-5 model
