I have a GT-30 with the continental 4cyl. I've heard that this motor runs with low oil pressure. It likes the 12-15 psi area. Might be just alittle higher when cold. Is this normal? It seems to run OK and doesn't smoke. To look at the tractor I would say it had low hours. Has decent original paint and real good sprockets, tracks, pins.
Thanks for your help.

Continental specs out a max oil pressure of 20-30 psi at 1850 rpm hot with SAE 30 wt oil. It specs 7 psi at idle hot. Terratrac spec'ed at 18 +/- 5 psi hot at 1850 rpm and 7 psi at idle hot. I would have to say you are right within the design of the engine.
About the sprockets, watch the sprocket nuts, they are famous for coming loose and ruining the sprocket and axle splines.
