Hello to all; I have my Bobcat apart, because one of the drive motor seals was leaking into the chain case. As long as it is apart, the right frt axle has been leaking, so I want to fix this while it is apart. Does anyone know how to pull the axle? The sprocket has been removed, also the tire. Is there a locking ring on the axle or is the seal holding it in? Thanks Bob

If you have all that off it should only take a swift lick with a hammer on the back side of the flange where the tire bolts on to make the axle come out, the sprocket pulled up tight against the bearings is what keeps the axle in but when the sprocket is off the seal is all that keeps the axle from falling out.

Gatractorman; Thank you for the reply! That is what I thought, but wasn't real sure. I found out today both drive motors are shot! And being they are Ross motors, they do not make parts anymore! So, I'm looking for rebuilts. Again, thank you. Bob
