I am looking at a 1970 JD 350 standard, and the guy says, sometimes the tracks walk off, more if your on a hill. He said the only problem is the bottom rollers need to be replaced. Are these expensive, and are they very hard to replace?

Brent, I just replaced my rollers on both sides of my 350B loader they cost 120. ea for aftermarket, J.D. rollers were 180. ea. If you replace your rollers make sure you get rollers with the same bolt hole size as the ones you have, when I went to put my new rollers on I found out the bolt size on my old rollers were 1/2 x 20 x 1 1/2, the new ones took a 5/8 x 20 x 1 3/4 so check it out before you buy. Good Luck

Brent, odds are there is other problems. Putting new rolers will not cure that problem, in fact , it could increase it. Why you ask, people think that if the roller is worn down just replace it. A new roller isn't as deep as a used one, so if a rail get out of it , it can get out of a new one easier. But for a novice, new rollers will fix anything. Now if all the flanges are gone off the rollers, yes new rollers will help cure the problem. I would make sure the rails(P&B's) are in GOOD shape first. Second make sure the front idlers are not out or to loose &/or the roller frame is not bent. Just my $.02 worth. HT
