started out with hand fire hd-5s and ran cats 977 down to 951s.was going to buy a jd 450 for cleanup around farm but a case 450 came on the market first.i give it 4 stars.close your eyes you think your on a cat 951.as far as im concered its powershift with a twist.what i like is i had a rock in the bucket,it had to be 5 ton.donkey was off the ground a foot.i wanted to take it to the property line.of corse it was mud so turning would be tricky.guess what with case if you want to turn you slow the track down you want to turn with not skid it.if you would skid it 1 track would not have the tractson to go.sweet.also pushing out some stubbon stumps, oak, dug underneath it and just rocked it and when you use your bucket it takes away from the cats so your not spinning a hole.i like it hope it hols up.they say a jd 450 you would have to push in on the clutch or it would stall, dont know never had on.
