Front idler hubs

We have a job that came into our shop to replace the bores in the front idlers of a Hitachi EX1800-3. The duo-cone seals we were given are for a DEERE, and it's my understanding that they are also the same in a CAT. The hub was so badly worn that we could not measure any dimensions off of them.. We need to find out the distance between the seal faces in the idler or the gap between the end block seal face and the idler seal face.. Any ideas where I could get this info (drawing) would be great.. Thanks for your time.. Jim

Hitachi makes Deere hoes.. Cat dances to their own music. [ don't think they will interchange ] Can you get the other idler to compare dimensions? I don't know of any way to get drawings from Hitachi. I used to have a connection at Deere , but thats gone....

Thanks Roy.. I have noticed in more research that the seals are different.. We were able to get specs for the Duo-cone seals for CAT, but when I measure the seal grooves in the new end blocks, there was a slight difference. Your stating that CAT is on it"s own has cleared up some "technical disputes" we"ve been having. But now we have to find the specs for the Deere seals.. Going to OEM to get info is like pulling teeth! Thanks again for your input. Jim
