Hi, I am trying to find out about a catapillar scrapper I have. The plate on it has June 1918 on it, but I think that is the patent date. I am wanting to find out the value of it. It still has all working parts.

Can anyone tell me how to get started? Who do I need to get in touch with, and how?

Thanks

Awise: I have the Cat R2 dozer and this last fall I was looking for a grader to pull behind my Cat. I have found two of the old graders, not particularly Cat. One was for $500 and in good working condition. The other one was in show condition for $1,000. That had the ringgear and pinion in it so that you could move the wheels left or right. It had the tongue for being horse-drawn or tractor pulled.

Yes, you are correct. It is a grader. I am sorry for the confusion. I really appreciate all the help. Thanks

Ask on ACMOC board when and if it gets up and running again. Are you sure it's a scraper with a bowl, not a grader with a blade?
