Are the control valves on the JD 93A backhoe attachment open center or closed center hydraulics? Does anyone know the approximate time frame when these were made? How similar is it to a 9250 backhoe attachment?

The 93A is a closed centered hoe attachment but I believe the straight 93 is open centered. I"m running a 93a on an old JD450 but I had to swap out the closed center valve stack with an open centered one. Was tough to find and pricey.

I should say I was running a 93a...until today- busted the frame. Anyone have a 93a there parting out? :(

Better check it out before you hook-up and fire the machine up...Take off both quick couplers and blow air through the pressure hose, air should expell through the return hose...If it doesn't you need to get an open center valve...

The 9300 and 9250 are open centered. I do not know of a 93A hoe but that does not mean they don't exist. I have never seen a closed center system on a Deere Crawler. Is this Hoe on a 350 0r 450 machine or an older one?

My 350 has a #93. If I do not plug the dozer hoses together after detaching it will stall the engine. Mine has the higher capacity loader pump on it.
