Hi Jim, Thanks for the suport. No hassle. Don"t let a little thing like that spoil you participation on the board. We all have old equipment and it was built to be repaired, not like the modern stuff where you just throw money at it, to replace computer boards, sensors, connectors etc. We never know who knows what when they post, so I just answer as honestly as possible. I only posted to endorse the post by possum, as his was the most practical way forward. I have seen posts with little information and lots of different fixes suggested, which could not all be right. Your fix would easily be acccomplished by buying a new manifold, carburetor and gaskets, but at what cost for a possibly blocked orifice? You may not be best pleased if it was simply low fuel level in the carb due to a restricted flow. If it was your local agricultural engineer who changed all those parts, they would not tell you, just charge you! Often/sometimes it can be a less expensive route to replace rather than repair, but generally on this board, repairs are possible or a necessity. Btw, let us know what you find. I,like the others, believe you wil find a blocked orifice somewhere. Regards, and a very happy Xmas & new year to you, RAB
