Posted to Jim on the other thread, by Chris(The RealRon?) Thopson WOW !!! what a responce thats good if your a mechanic why would you need advice ? why ask for advice ? if you aldready know ? your knocking my
mechanical abilities HA HA !!! are you requesting
my proof of mechanics license HA HA !!! if your a mechanic you should be able to diagnose a simple problem like that EH !!! i would think the advice that i gave would be appropriate for the simple problem that you asked an answer for !!! but i guess you know better than the rest of us EH!!!
i shoudnt have wasted my time giving advice anyway
you really should consider buying a realistic crawler anyway why would you waste time fixing a
dinasaur like that i dont think it would be wise to spend any money on that junk anyway who uses gasoline crawlers anymore ? i guess your looking for a free ride !! sometimes you have to spend money to have good equipment !!! OH i dont need to
prove my mechanical abilities to you or any one else !!! you are really ignorant arent you !!!!
ask for advice then insult the people that give you advice why do tou need the advice of others anyway it seems to me that your the one that has to fix your machine anyway !!! no body else can unless you reahc into your wallet and pay a professional which is probably what you should do although it would be hard to find any mechanic to work on crap like the machine you have HA HA !!!
two idiots for the price of one !!! two cock in the mouths !!!! Chris thompson

CT,
If you would read the note from the moderator when you post a message, it says not to use degrading or demeaning language in your posts, as this is a friendly forum for friendly questions and comments. I think that if you (and anyone else) feel you have to make comments like the ones that have been made on this thread and the original, you should either not post at all, or go somewhere else. You say his crawler is junk; he may not agree. He is probably just wanting to keep an antique operable, rather than junk it out, and pay an arm and a leg for a machine that he really doesn't need. So, please, keep your rude comments to yourself in the future - we all would appreciate it. Try to have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

HELLO Jim in michigan !!! dont let me ruin your experience on the board i answered your question
from my point of view and RAB jumped in with his point of view and insulted me with what he wrote
as if he knows better than the rest of us as you seen there were other people 3 or 4 that gave you the same advice i dont appreciate you saying that one person could ruin your experience on this board !!! as i believe that it is me you are reffering to ? and all i did was react to an ignorant responce from rab maybe he should think about how he words things to not offend others !!!
i really dont have a problem with RAB but i didnt like his first responce including me in it as i was jumping the gun and causing you uneeded work
?? anyway i dont think that i was the one who offended first and have seen his responces many times and he always second guesses the other people that take there time and give advice to people that ask for it anyway i dont know what your thanking him for he didnt give any advice he just insulted the other people that were trying to give you GOOD advice !!! anyway i didnt mean or know how i would offend you but if you are offended by my responce to RAB i really dont CARE !!! if you get offended by other people standing up for themselves after someone insulted them !!!!THANK YOU !!! Chris Thompson

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the suport. No hassle. Don"t let a little thing like that spoil you participation on the board.
We all have old equipment and it was built to be repaired, not like the modern stuff where you just throw money at it, to replace computer boards, sensors, connectors etc.
We never know who knows what when they post, so I just answer as honestly as possible. I only posted to endorse the post by possum, as his was the most practical way forward.
I have seen posts with little information and lots of different fixes suggested, which could not all be right.
Your fix would easily be acccomplished by buying a new manifold, carburetor and gaskets, but at what cost for a possibly blocked orifice? You may not be best pleased if it was simply low fuel level in the carb due to a restricted flow. If it was your local agricultural engineer who changed all those parts, they would not tell you, just charge you! Often/sometimes it can be a less expensive route to replace rather than repair, but generally on this board, repairs are possible or a necessity.
Btw, let us know what you find. I,like the others, believe you wil find a blocked orifice somewhere.
Regards, and a very happy Xmas & new year to you, RAB
