I have an 850 Case with power shift transmission. It works almost every day.Lately when I go to start it it won't move until the transmission oil reaches a certain temperature.I've replaced the filter, cleaned the suction screen, and fixed all leaks but it still takes almost 30 minutes with the engine revving at high speed to warm the transmission in order for the tracks to move.Am I overlooking something or is it new transmission time.

On my (IH) machine there is also what's called a safety filter, which is exactly like the suction filter except it's downstream of the pump and installed between the line leading to the oil cooler (located in the engine bay). Not sure if yours is similar, but you might have one too and if you do it would be worthwhile to check it as well.

On a side note something similar to this happened to me last summer. One side of my machine got stuck in the mud and it sank over until the loader was leaning hard to the left. The transmission pressure dropped off and power to the tracks basically went to zero. I put some more oil in it to raise the level which definitely helped, but still even with good pressure the crawler wouldn't move for some reason. So I just kept switching from reverse to forward and then applying throttle, and then forward to reverse and applying throttle. I noticed that the tracks started to slowly move just a bit during this process and then noticed the transmission oil temp jumped up to 240 deg F (normally runs 190 or so). When I saw it go that high of course I backed off and it very quickly dropped down to normal temp...but I noticed that more and more power was getting to the tracks after that. It was as if the hotter the oil got the more power was being transferred to the tracks. I'm still not sure exactly why that happened, considering that the loader would always put full power to the tracks even with cold oil before. But on this instance the heated oil definitely seemed to help.

Anyway that whole process was started by oil starvation due to a bad tilt, so at a minimum I would definitely make sure the machine is on level ground and that the oil level is fully up to level. If there is anyway you can check the pickup tube that might be helpful too. Sorry can't offer more than this.

Good luck

This is just a guess but you may have water in the fluid and if so it could be freezeing and causeing the problem.
