I have a 440 with a stuck engine. The gas engine is a Industrial Ford Pinto engine Model 98GF-6005-A the Ford Industrial dealer said this cross references to a Ford Model KSG416.
What are your plans for the engine you currently have?

Dont know about the 440, but I have a Owatonna Mustang 1700 that had the same engine. It shot craps and I replaced it with a Chevy 283 out of a 1957 Chevy. When you figure all the carbuerating and the big oil filter on the old Ford, It was the same width and 2 inches shorter than the ford inline 4 cylinder. I had to manufacture the collar to convert it from the chevy flywheel to the old Ford hookup. I found some at Tractor supply that were pretty close and welded and redrilled 4 of em toghether for thickness. Power is no longer an issue, but keeping clutches in is.
