I have a 1947 D2 which I am wanting to restore. I need however, a parts book/owners manual for it. If anyone knows of where I can get one, please email me at sdunagan@core.com. Also if anyone has any data on this model I would appreciated any thing available.

Try www.acmoc.com! They deal with cats and the people on the bulletin board know a lot about cats and can help you get the information you want as well as the manuals!

Try the "Market Place" and "tractor manuals" on this page. There are many pages of Cat manuals listed. Pete

Pete, get the manuals for YOUR tractor. It may be a 5J or a 5U, and there are some difference when you order parts. Keep looking at ebay. Go to hppt://www.acmoc.org/forum/discus/ it's like an online book. Ask any question about a pre '65 Cat and you'll get very good, complete answers.
