Sorry for the delay. You asked me what my Serial Number was for my '68 model 450 loader.

3038616 Chassis Serial Number
2740238 Engine Serial Number
2643037 Transmission Serial Number

The outfit I purchased it from advertised it as a 1968 model although I did not do any research to verify that. With a machine that old it did not really matter to me.

The loader has a Drott 4n1 bucket. This may not be original but appears from the service manuals to be correct for this machine. The bucket ID tag is long since gone.

The tags for the engine and transmission are very difficult to read so they may be off a digit or two. I would not be surprised to find that this is not the original engine. It is a 188 Diesel which is correct for the machine. I do know the fuel filter pack is not original. The original filters were one up and one down. On mine they are both down. Seems to work okay though.

I'm going to be putting in an engine kit sometime pretty soon. First going to pull the head and see whats going on. Gots lots of blowby all of a sudden and not running on all 4 cylinders, especially when cold.

Good luck finding out the year for your 450.

John
