I have gone thru and opened the fuel lines from tank to pump and bled at the injectors. Center injector seems to make no difference when opened, front and rear make the engine run rough when opened. Checked rectangular window on the injector pump---no evidence of trash. Cranked engine with lines open at each location and is pumping plenty of fuel. Also checked all air intakes and line.
I"m assuming the injectors need replacing. Does this sound correct.

Seems doubtful that all the injectors will be plugged enough to keep it from running. I'd try two things first. #1, unhook the return fuel line from the top of the injection pump. Then, remove the fitting it was hooked to. The fitting is two piece and needs a 1/2" or 9/16" open-end wrench to remove. Once out, see if the machine runs better. Fuel will run on the ground a bit unless you catch it. If it now runs better, the fitting is plugged, not letting return fuel get out of the pump, letting injection pump housing pressure get too high, and shutting itself off. This happens when the internal governor weight retainer rings first comes apart. Just takes on tiny speck to clog the fitting and disable the crawler. #2, if needed. Remove the three injectors and hook them back up to the fuel lines. Then, crank it over and see if, and/or how they are firing.
Make sure whenever you reinstall those little pencil injectors you use Neversieze on them.

I have gone completely though all fittings from tank to injectors. Pulled the injectors and had the John Deere dealer check them for opening and spray pattern.
I found the tank vent tube clogged which may have been the first thing to check.I have cleaned all lines, tank to fuel pump, fuel pump flow out, filter flow out, injector pump out and to the injectors. Also checked the return lines back to the pump, and to tank. All have good full flow. Also cleaned all air. Engine cranks good, runs good, then slowly smothers, but doesn't stop running---just no power. I am pulling injectors to turn engine and check for firing of each. Any ideas?

You said you checked the return fuel lines. But, as I mentioned earlier, did you remove the housing pressure valve from the top of the injection pump and try running it that way? That valve has a tendency to plug, and when it does, the engine will start fine, and then lose power and slowly die - or barely run. Shut it off, let it sit a bit, and then it will start right up and repeat the process. To check it, you have to remove the valve/fitting itself - take it out of the top of the pump. It's two piece - pipe thread on one end (towards the pump) and male flare on the other. It's the fitting that hooks to the return fuel line. You can then start the machine although fuel will be running on the ground (or maybe your feet or better yet, a bucket?). Did you do this already?

I just removed and cleaned---this was the problem. There was a very small bit of something in the check valve. Cleaned it and now runs perfect. Thanks.

It may run fine for awhile, but that little speck you removed was probably a piece of the governor weight retainer ring. It's is made of soft plastic and comes apart in tiny little pieces. It will probably keep on happening unless you drill the fitting out - or poke out the check ball. Eventually the pump will completely crap out. May take weeks, months, maybe a year. If you wait too long, you'll probably get some serious internal damage. If you fix it before it gets trashed, you can probably get by with $40-$75 in parts and a couple of hours labor for someone that knows what they're doing. Takes an hour to do the pump, not counting removal and installation. If you have to have the ring installed at a pump shop - you'll have a hard time finding one willing to do it with out selling you a complete rebuild.

make up a 1 gallon jug and feed the pump direct, maybe air leak, broken line, something floating in the tank.gallon jug eliminates that.

Well you either have a compression problem or a fuel problem on the middle cylinder. Take the end one out that is the easiest to remove and the center one and swap the two around. If the miss stays with the cylinder, the problem is inside the engine (compression related). If not have the injector checked.
