jd 440 reverser elimination

I have a jd 440 track loader with a bad reverser, would like to go to a strait through shaft but having trouble finding a long coupling
and or longer front part of input shaft. any help would be appretiated

could you explain this a little further. I have a 450 with a bad reverser. are these machines similar in the reverser section? How would it have a reverse if you did this? I dont think my 450 even has a reverse on the gear change section. I bought this machine in this condition so I dont have any experience operating it. Thanks, JP
