I am looking for the hydraulic pump housing (M10297) or the entire hydraulic pump (AM2947T) for a John Deere 420C (serial 133412). Any recommendations are to salvage yards or other places to get one of these parts.

Thanks in advance

I hunted around for pumps for the 40's and wound up with 3 before I realized there are seals inside that dry out and need to be replaced to get good pressure. Stupid of me but that's part of the learning curve. Bad seals will also allow the pump gears to gall the pump itself. No, none of the pumps are for sale.

I should have a 420C coming in about two weeks that should have a pump on it. I'm in NC, email if interested.

I think I may have one located, but never know what other parts I might need, so I will keep you in mind. Thanks for responding.

Jake Stobbe in Langley, BC, Canada dismantles JD crawlers. I bought a pump and some tranny parts from him. His phone is 604 888 2251.
