A few weeks back I posted about a TD14 that won't move. I pulled the trans filler plug and can see the gears sliding and even spinning. Pulled the access plates on the back behind the steering clutches and could see that the stub axles into the steering clutches weren't turning. My friend who owns the crawler got a parts breakdown and after studying it I determined that the only cause is a broken tooth or two on the ring gear. went out to work on it again this last weekend I worked the blade up and down to try and move the tractor, it finally caught the ring gear and would move a few feet and jerk, move a few feet and jerk and finally hit the bald spot again and there she sits. Thanks all of you guys that gave advice. I really appreciate it.

Sounds like a good way for someone to get hurt or killed. What do you do if it decides to take off? Try to climb on and shut it down?
