I am looking at a 1987 Jd210c 2wd backhoe thats coming up for sale going to look at it this afternoon. Any help on what to look for or possible value? I know there is a lot of variables involved in pricing but some ballpark values would help.Does anyone have one? Do you like it? Any Problem areas? Thanks in advance Rick.

We sold them new, and only unique problem that I recall was vibration. 210C was a "cheap" version for the Deere line - they cut corners on the engine and hydraulic system. That engine was originally intended to have balancing shafts to cut down on engine vibration. Four-cylinder engines are much more prone to vibration than 3s, 5s, or 6s. Deere, in a cost-cutting approach, left the balancers out of the 210C. Some of them shook so bad, at low engine speed, that the exhausts were breaking. I think later on, Deere gave up on the idea and put the balancing shafts back in for the newer models.
