Hi,have you already got the mounts for the rops or do you need those also.Does it already have rops and you are just replacing it or did it not have one on it.I might know where one is but I'll have to check.

It has ROPS on it but I'm not sure if it is original. Looks more like the type that was used for forestry work. Mesh screen around the operator. I was wanting the open type you see on most 450s.

Hi Jeff,I went by the bone yard today and the rops that I had seen there earlier was gone.I think I understand why you want the original type rops,they do look cleaner than a screened in version but you have to remember that as long as the one you have is structually sound and safe that it probably is better than the open type anyways.With the screens it could save you from a nasty blow from a flying limb.I would rather be safe and ugly than pretty and dangerous any day.Just my 2 cents.I'll keep an eye out for any rops in my area and let you know if I see any more.
