Mustang is now owned by Gehl. It should be a decent machine.

Not familiar with the newer machines but the older ones were ok, after I figured out how to operate the T-bar for the drive it seemed to be as good as anything on the market, dealer support is awfully spotty in my area.

(Convert my email number into numerical format and use the correct symbols for AT and DOT if you want to email me.)

Mustang machines are, for the most part, very well-built. A little-known fact is that they are the second-oldest skid steer manufacturer (after Bobcat). While this doesn't really mean anything, Mustang certainly has some background in how to make skid steers. In general, their machines are extremely rugged and stand up very well. Consequently, they are able to have massive breakout and axle torque ratings. Operator comfort is all right, nothing spectacular, but my presumtion is that the cab would be a bit noisy. Do understand that the current 2066, 2076, and 2086 are based on the Gehl mainframes (5640, 6640); the 2199 and 2099 are identical machines to the Gehl 7810 and 7610, respectively.

In general, they're good machines.
