Can someone tell me what kind of problem I might have w/ a 864F bobcat that has a 74.5 hp deutz.
When 1st start it smokes out a whitish blue smoke for a minute or 2, then is fine even when working it hard? I just bought this skidsteer.its a 1999.

The Deutz engine is great, however keep the cooling fins clean and the blower in good condition. As for the smoke, keep an eye on it, but don't worry too much my tractor has been doing that for 7 years now and still cranks and runs great.

You might check your injectors for cracking pressure, they tend to need resetting or replacement at the 2 to 3000 hr mark

It's burning a little oil, it's common on these engines to use some oil.
