I"d think letting it go to auction would be the move to make, but the auctioneer"s fee"s plus tax add 21.25% on top of the bid. The TLB is at a dealership right now, so if I bought it from them, I assume I"d have to pay sales tax, otherwise the owner would not have it at the dealer? Anyways, it"s a 1993 575D, 3400 hours, no extendahoe, and no 4 in 1 bucket. It has the hydraulics for a 4 in 1 bucket however, and is plumbed all the way up to the loader bucket... New 4 in 1 bucket would cost me $3500 (not going to happen) I was told I could try and look for used, in the $1500 price range... The owner told the dealer he "wants" $19,500. The guy I talked to at the dealership told me he might take $17,900. I figure, my best offer would be $18,000 with tax included. What is the difference between a 555D and a 575D? Is $18,000 a good price for a 1993 575D with 3400 hours? The guys who owned it is a top soil contractor. The auction is this saturday, I have like 2 days here to decide...
