we have got a massey fergeson 470 loader that wont start its got a perkins 236 diesel engine need the firing order where to find the timing marks and which is the # 1 cylinder as the engine is mounted in the loader backwards any help will be great thanks mike

HELLO !! i dont know why you want firing order either ? the pump i think is master splined anyway should only be able to install it one way ? the lines should only fit one way too !!
bleed fuel system and go from there ? i guess ?

why do you need the firing order??? did you have the pump off or tare the engine down???

I have one of these loaders and aside from the front axle problems it's worked great. I have never had to tear the motor out (it's a perkins diesel). If it won't start make sure your pump is working (throw out the old style diaphragm style and install and inline electric their pretty cheap), prime the pump, bleed the injectors and you should be good to go.
