just got a 4400 ind ford it has a 3 -cyl diesel I need to find hp., ser#s,and year on it. I found these #s on the rear houseing top flange were it meets the trans flange AT41B05 4A23C down under the seat on the left side rear houseng 19 11 73 under that C5 nn4024y on the motor right side block Donn 6015 L 4A162, hope someone can help thanks. jeep

I can tell you that the D0NN-----Y and C5----- are ford casting/part #'s. They have used this system for all their products for years. The first letter designates the year- C for 1960 decade, the 5 is for '65, the next 2 determine what car line or vehicle model, the center of the part # tells what that part is and is called the base #, (example- every engine block is a 6015 number), and the last number or two indicate what generation or change made to that base part #. I have no idea what the rest of your info means, but that may get you going on what's what with all the cast numbers on your machine.
