I have a 955K loader. I went to check the oil in the finals yesterday and when I pulled the plugs out there was to much oil in them and it was a light green color. Now I know the green color is probably from water but how did all this oil get to my finals. I dont have a service manual yet so dont know what to look for. Thanks for any help on this subject.

If the seals behind the sprocket were bad and letting water in,they would also be leaking oil out on the ground. If this isn't the case,I would say the pinion seals and possibly the bearings are bad letting bevel gear/steering clutch oil leak into the finals.

Jay,
Drain the finals. If the green color is caused by water, the water will be the first to come out. I'm not familiar with the 955K, but that is where I would start. Then you can try to run down where the water is coming from.
