You may have lost one of the linings on the brake. There is an adjustment on the side of the rear housing below the seat. It is a set screw with a large lock nut. You unlock the lock nut, pull the steering lever back and turn in the set screw a little at a time releasing the lever each time checking for free travel in the lever. Keep doing this until you have obtained roughly 2-3" of free travel measured at the tip of the lever. If you have to adjust it in a long way then you have probably lost a lining and it will then be running metal on metal. I would not reccomend running this way but this may help you get it on a trailer. You'll then have to get into the steering system to repair the problem. The adjustment procedure I have given is just a general adjustment to maybe get you on the trailer. You shoule get yourself a manual and make the proper adjustments according to the book. If you have any other questions feel free to email me directly and be sure to visit our website.
