I was power washing the 575D I purchased a few weeks ago, and I noticed an electrical connection that was unplugged. It was for the system hydraulic filter bypass indicator. I figured as soon as I plugged it in, the hydraulic filter restriction light on the console would go on. I changed the filter last weekend, and the light did not go on, I figured someone unplugged it by mistake, and just never plugged it back in. Well, this weekend the light went on. I'm not working with the 575D yet, still fixing the minor issues with it b4 I take it to my lot... So I only start it up once in a while to move it, etc… So if I have a new filter, and the filter restriction light is on, what's the problem? Do I need a new bypass valve or a new indicator? I did notice when I changed the filter, the op manual said there was a check valve to prevent siphoning of hydraulic oil from the reservoir, well... The oil just kept coming out. I lost 2 gallons of hydraulic oil just changing the filter. Could this have something to do with it???
