What is a fair price for a operators and maintenance manual for a D6 9U and are they still avalible through Cat. Thanks Bryan

I should re-iterate, best to get the serial number off the machine 1st, so you get the correct manual for it, check above the left final drive case on the back of the machine and or on the left side of the engine block, if either or both tags are missing for some reason or are different, I believe the number is stamped under where the tags are attached, you may have to remove paint and or clean the area to read it.

We have reprints of the original Cat manuals available at very reasonable prices. These are very good quality manuals, and we use them almost exclusively in our shop. Hi, Bryan. Some of the people over at Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owner's Club (ACMOC) or at Antique Caterpillar Machinery Enthusiasts (ACME) can tell you of a company that carries most of these books for sale most of the time and waht a fair price would be.
