I am looking at a 350c dozer, SN 1136347, Model 4F3D (or 453D). Can anyone tell me what year model this is and what it"s approximate value is? Right brake does not work, has been idle for 2 years. Did this model come with a 6-way blade? Thanks, Gary

It looks like you have too many digits in the serial number you gave. It should have 5 or 6 digits.

Yes, I wrote the "T" as a 1. It should be 113634. The type is T4F3D. Do you have an idea of its' value or year of make?
Thanks

It is a 1970 model. It is a straight 350 with no B or C suffix.

I'm not sure, but I think with that model #(4F3D) it's a plain 350,not a 350C. If that's the case, it should be around '69 or '70. I'm sure someone will be along to help shortly.

I can't help with the numbers, but either it has wet steering and brakes, or it does not. 350s, and 350Bs have dry steering and clutches, and the 350C is the first to have wet. A "C" series will have aluminum round bung-plugs on the top of the steering clutch housings for brake-adjuster access. Also, the C gear tranmsission won't have any reverse, whereas the older 350s have hydraulic reverse and gear reverse (if equipped with the hydraulic reverser). All the 350s were available with mechanical angle outside blade, 6-way hydraulic inside blade, or 6-way mechanical "logger's special" inside blade. I've also seen them with no blade, wide track pads, and three point hitch for farm work.
