International Crawler/Dozer Identification

I have a IH crawler/dozer that was basically given to me. Its huge, not a small farm style. I'm trying to identify what model it is. I understand there is supposed to be a plate on the dash somewhere, but I have not seen any. There are hardly any decals left on it. Does anyone have an idea if there are other places on the crawler where an ID tag may be? I don't have any pictures, but I am in hopes of getting some this week. I can tell you that it is an International, not a McCormick/Deering. This is according to the decals that are readable. It is painted Yellow. It apparently starts with gasoline first, then is zwitched over to diesel. It does have a tank for each fuel, a small one for gas, and a large one for diesel.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Hector:

The Injector has a plate on it that says

International Harvester Corporation
25620 | R8 | Ser# 1072

( I don"t know if the lines are ones(1) or not, but they look like lines as they are heavier and wider than the numbers)

Hope this helps.

Where abouts are you in WA? try Google.com . . . . then click on images, try TD 6, TD 9, TD 18, etc. maybe something will look similar to yours. I"ll bet you can find it.

If it has dual exhaust it could be a TD-18 or TD-24
