Hey Guys, I need some input on my loader being SLOW to raise. It drops fast, the bucket rolls fast and the backhoe works fast. I have changed fluid and filters, took control valve apart, tried swapping hoses at control valve(no change still up slow and down fast),and raised loader 1/2 way up and removed hoses from top of clys. to check for leaking thru. If it was the pressure control valve wouldn't all front functions be slow? Same with return line to sump? Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Terry

Terry it sounds like a line problem most likely the line from the valve to the split for both cylinders. If you can swap them there it might give a better clue to the problem. I would like to here the results.

Hey Skip,
Thanks for the reply! I have pulled every line loose except return line to sump from the valve block, all clean, blew air through them and ran a wire through them. I think I"m going to swap lines with the hoe at the junction block and see what happens.Any other ideas? I"m out of any other ideas! I would love some more! Thanks again, Terry

Is there a relief valve in the valve section that protects just that function? It could be sticking. Roger

Hey Roger,
Thanks for the reply! There is a check valve in the boom section(it appears to be fine) there is a relief valve in the bucket section that I haven"t looked at. It doesn"t sound like any relieving going on during boom operation, does sound like there is when bucket is held to extremes so I figured it was working. I will take a look at it if you still think it may be the problem. At this point I"m ready to start pulling hair!!
Thanks,
Terry
