I have changed the engine in my TD 9. This engine is out of a WD 9 and has sat inside for thee years or so. Then I towed it to bring up oil pressure and bleed air from the fuel system. Can not get fuel to come out of the injector bleed screws and the fuel pressure gage pegged out. Is there something in the pump that is holding the fuel back? Will I have to pull the pump and injectors and have them gone thru? Any help would be appreciated.

what we do in the great white north is put and old tire tube on the fuel tank and air it up so the tube just lifts up. use a hose clamp and if you put too much pressur ein the tank, the inter tube pops off. once the tank is pressurised. try chasing the air out at the injectors. if not head to red power BB and read up on the pumps.
