Got my first up close look at a JD 350 and was suprised to see 2 remotes, a PTO and drawbar.

What kind of chores would those be used for ?

Bill

Don't know about the winch, but the machine was parked
at an Angus stud farm which just added a restaurant.
The property is quite hilly so using a small dozer for
some chores does make sense.

no 3 pt hitch? Could be the "2 remotes" you are seeing are really hydrualic lines that used to go to a winch. The PTO also fit the winch. Could be someone sold the winch then bolted on a drawbar for towing stuff.

Tractor was probably AG spec'd. It can be used for anything that a small utility tractor would do,mowing, plowing, pulling a disc etc. Some were spec'd that way for orchard work, mowing, discing etc on the slopes around the orchards.Make a handy little toy to have.
