I know of one fellow who put one up and he said his building sweats alot. Get his equipment all wet all the time. It's uninsulated obviously. I was going to buy one for a garage/workshop but was strongly advised against it.

You want to think about lateral thrust. With vertical loading--dead weight, snow--the sides will want to push out. Stick with Woodsman and follow the mfgr's specs. The town next door lost its salt shed the first winter because they half-assed the concrete side walls.

I know of more than one instance of these buildings collapsing due to improper installation and one fellow in our community died as a result. I urge you to follow the manufacturers recomendations and do it right. I have a 35 x 50 building myself and my wife and I had the forms and rebar in place in two days easy.
I live in Ontario and our snow load in Muskoka is unreal, check with the manufacturer and the local building officials first. Also, I got 17ft 8 inches to the top of the arch and a log truck fits easy, and thats with a sliding door.
