Hey guys, I got my eye on a little 1010. Its running good and has a decent UC. Needs a brake band but Ive got that covered. Im just curious before Im totally committed to buying it how available the parts are. I kinda got my heart set on it cause its got a 350 6 way blade and is small enough to pull with my truck, but no sense getting it if I cant find parts. Thanks.

Thanks Lavoy. That makes me feel a bit better. Are engines or engine parts pretty much able to be had? I havent looked at it in a while and wish I knew the exact model, but it has the diesel engine. If engine parts are far and few, is there any other bolt-ins or options for power in those things? Anyway, just wanting to cover all my bases. Thanks again.

Engine parts are a Deere item only for the most part, but I have heard of an aftermarket supplier tooling up 2010 parts, so may do 1010 as well.
If not, they are available from Deere.

Thanks again, Ill check with Deere. Im glad I found you guys. Some of these old dozers are tough to find parts for and its good to see there are some resources around. By the way, I like your site, good job.

Some new parts are hard to get, used is not too bad. Steering clutches are no problem, most undercarraige is around used, some new. 1010 power 6 way is a handy little crawler.
