hi, my crawler [57 case 310] is almost ready to use...i guess its time to replace the quart milk bottle i've been using as a gas tank...problem is , the tractor sat for about ten years and i did find water in the gas tank....any one have any suggestions on how to remove the heavy scale/rust from the inside of the tank....sandblasting will look after the outside....john b

jp did you happen to replace the spockets? if you did where did you find them? i need a couple good ones. also you can put some water and some nuts and bolts in the tank. strap it to a wheel of a tractor somehow and ride up and down the hill...ive done that with reguar tractor tanks.. mite be hard with a dozer tank tho.....

Take it to a radiator shop and have them drop it in their tank over the weekend. Eastwood has a gas tank sealer that I've used on my old cars that seems to work good.
