Does anyone know tight the front and rear cross bars should be to the track frames? I am rebuilding the crawler and have purchased new bushings for the front bar and have welded up loose holes, and have welded up the rear bar. I am not sure what tolerance to machine it to? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I don't know if there is a tolerence for clearance on that application. I've always just made them tight enough to allow flex at that joint and not slop around.I have also ground the bottom of the new bushing to make it tighter.
