My dad just bought a 1965 933 Traxcavator Serial No. 42A477. Evidently the left carrier roller is wobbily (sp?) and it only turns to the right. We have the service manual but I am told there may be an operator manual out there also. Would there a parts manual or repair manual I should look for? Lots of questions I know, but any help will be appreciated.

Keep going until you find that operators' manual. Best thing in it is the lubrication chart. Learned about 4 grease fittings that I, and the previous owner, didn't know existed. Cat dealer got mine printed for me, expensive, but worth it.

That service manual is indispensable. Hope you never have to rebuild the tranny.

Good luck.
